Scope of Training
Participants are trained in:
- DOT vs. Non-DOT drug testing requirements and regulatory differences
- Urine specimen collection procedures in accordance with 49 CFR Part 40
- Observed Collections (when required) and proper documentation
- Chain of Custody Form (CCF) completion and error prevention
- Shy bladder procedures and donor interaction requirements
- Specimen handling, security, and shipment protocols
- Identification and prevention of fatal flaws and correctable errors
- Professional conduct, site setup, and compliance documentation

Mock Training & Proficiency Demonstration (Included)
This training includes mock training materials and five (5) supervised, error-free mock collections, conducted to demonstrate proficiency as outlined in DOT guidance.
Mock collections are used to:
