Do you provide mobile and on-site services?

Yes. EK‑DNA LLC provides mobile and on-site testing for employers, organizations, and individuals. We generally serve locations within 50 miles of Nashville, with extended mobile response available up to 100 miles when scheduling and service requirements permit.

Are appointments required?

Appointments are strongly recommended to confirm availability, testing requirements, pricing, and specimen-collection instructions. Mobile, after-hours, weekend, and post-accident services must be coordinated directly with our team.

Drug and Alcohol Testing

What types of drug testing do you offer?

We provide DOT and Non-DOT urine testing, instant drug testing, oral-fluid testing, hair testing, nail testing, alcohol testing, and specialized testing based on employer or individual requirements.

What is the difference between DOT and Non-DOT drug testing?

DOT testing follows federal regulations for employees working in safety-sensitive transportation positions. Non-DOT testing is governed by an employer’s workplace policy, applicable state law, and the testing program selected by the employer.

EK‑DNA LLC helps clients identify the appropriate collection process, but employers remain responsible for maintaining legally compliant workplace policies.

Do you provide post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing?

Yes. We provide mobile post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing, including drug and breath-alcohol collections when required. Employers should contact EK‑DNA LLC as soon as possible so testing timeframes, location, documentation, and collector availability can be evaluated.

Do you provide return-to-duty and follow-up testing?

Yes. We provide DOT return-to-duty and follow-up urine collections. These collections are directly observed as required by federal regulations and must be supported by the proper employer, consortium, or testing-authority documentation.

What should an employee bring to a drug test?

The employee should bring:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID
  • Employer or testing-authority paperwork
  • An electronic registration or donor pass, if provided
  • Any additional documentation requested when the appointment is scheduled

The employee should not overconsume water before a urine collection because excessive fluid intake may result in a diluted specimen.

How long does drug-testing collection take?

A standard collection may take approximately 15–30 minutes when identification, paperwork, and specimen requirements are completed without complications. Shy-bladder procedures, observed collections, documentation issues, or other special circumstances may require additional time.

How quickly will drug-test results be available?

Turnaround times depend on the test type, laboratory, shipping schedule, specimen validity, medical review, and whether confirmation testing is required. Instant-test results may be available shortly after collection, while laboratory-based testing generally requires additional processing time.

EK‑DNA LLC cannot guarantee a specific completion date unless it has been confirmed for the selected service.

Employer and Workforce Compliance Services

Can EK‑DNA LLC help employers with pre-employment screening?

Yes. We provide customizable pre-employment and hiring solutions that may include identity verification, I‑9 assistance, background screening, drug testing, breath-alcohol testing, fingerprinting, physical examinations, and organized completion reporting.

Do you offer employer packages or monthly compliance plans?

Yes. Employers may select individual services, bundled hiring packages, or monthly workforce-compliance plans. Our solutions are designed to simplify vendor management, standardize hiring processes, and reduce administrative gaps.

Can you manage random drug-testing programs?

Yes. EK‑DNA LLC assists employers with DOT and Non-DOT random-testing coordination. Program requirements depend on the employer’s industry, regulatory authority, workforce size, and written testing policy.

Does EK‑DNA LLC make hiring decisions?

No. EK‑DNA LLC provides testing, screening, verification, collection, and compliance-support services. The employer is responsible for making hiring and employment decisions in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

DNA Testing

What types of DNA testing do you provide?

Our DNA-testing services include paternity, sibling, grandparentage, avuncular, twin-zygosity, ancestry, lineage, prenatal-paternity, immigration, forensic, and other relationship-testing options.

What is the difference between legal and non-legal DNA testing?

Legal DNA testing follows documented chain-of-custody procedures, identity verification, witnessed specimen collection, and laboratory requirements. Results may be suitable for court, child support, immigration, custody, or other official purposes.

Non-legal testing is intended for personal knowledge and generally cannot be used as legal evidence.

Is DNA testing confidential?

Yes. DNA-testing appointments and records are handled through controlled procedures designed to protect client privacy. Results are released only to properly authorized individuals according to the testing arrangement and laboratory requirements.

How long do DNA-test results take?

Turnaround times depend on the type of DNA test, laboratory processing, specimen quality, shipping schedule, and whether additional participants or documentation are required. Estimated turnaround times will be discussed when the test is scheduled.

Fingerprinting, Identity and Occupational Health

Do you provide fingerprinting?

Yes. We provide ink fingerprinting on FD‑258 cards for employment, licensing, background investigations, and other authorized purposes. Clients should confirm the number of cards and the receiving agency’s requirements before the appointment.

Do you provide DOT physical examinations?

Yes. EK‑DNA LLC coordinates DOT physical examinations through our medical partner, DOT Physical USA–Nashville. Scheduling and payment information will be provided when the appointment is arranged.

Can EK‑DNA LLC help with identity verification and Form I‑9 requirements?

Yes. We provide identity-verification and I‑9 assistance services. Employers remain responsible for completing and retaining Form I‑9 properly and complying with federal employment-eligibility requirements.

Scheduling and Payment

How do I schedule a service?

Contact EK‑DNA LLC with the service needed, number of individuals, requested date and time, testing location, and whether the service is for an employer, legal matter, government requirement, or personal purpose.

Are mobile, after-hours, and emergency-service fees additional?

Additional fees may apply for mobile response, extended travel, after-hours service, weekends, holidays, urgent requests, observed collections, shy-bladder procedures, or other specialized requirements. Pricing will be confirmed before service whenever circumstances permit.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Available payment options and payment deadlines will be included with the appointment confirmation or invoice. Employer-account arrangements may be available for approved business clients.
